LVCG is delighted to present the event report for our flagship BRICKLIVE Show held at the NEC in Birmingham, UK over the 31st October-3rd November.

Around 20,000 families and friends joined us again this year to enjoy a mix of new features and content along with some old favourites like our brick pits.

The lure of our pits (each of which contains hundreds of thousands of bricks) proved to be enough for one family from Leicester to overnight in Birmingham so as to make sure they could get in as soon as the doors opened. They then spent the whole day in the blue and black pit and the result was this incredible model of the Levi’s? Stadium in Santa Clara, home to the San Francisco 49ers NFL team.

This model was built from scratch with no plans.

Two of the show highlights were the BRICKLIVE PAW Patrol and BRICKLIVE Ocean tours, both of which offered ample opportunities for selfies and for the crowd to appreciate the talent of our team of builders.

The Show also featured two new racing circuits and the Ninja tournament temple along with our traditional favourites including the race tracks, build zones, maps and mosaics.

Marble Hills debut

Amid the five million or so bricks that made up the “biggest BRICK show in the UK” you could also find the UK debut of Marble Hills. The 4 marble runs proved to be as much of a hit in Birmingham as they were when they made their debut last month in Geneva.

Young and old alike delighted in racing their marbles down the intricate brick-built constructions and it was clear that BRICKLIVE has a new feature that will prove hugely popular with our partners and guests.

Over on the Live Challenge stage visitors were set a challenge to see which team could build the strongest bridge  in the allotted time. As you'll see in Event Report, some of them were so strong they exceeded our supply of weights but our staff was up to the challenge and prepared to 'sit down on the job’ if necessary to find a winner.

Our thanks go to all those members of staff whose hard work went into providing such a memorable experience for our visitors. Click the button below to download the report.
