The artificial turf of the training home for the Dallas Cowboys NFL team was transformed for the weekend into a sea of interactive activities with the adored LEGO? brick for children, families and fans to enjoy.
The Show was the first to be promoted by the Group's US joint venture, Parallel Three Six Zero Inc., and Live Nation Entertainment Inc. (“Live Nation”) and was well received by visitors, with attendance being in line with the Company's expectations. The Show received a good response from the media with FOX 4 News, ABC and CBS attending the event.
Plenty of entertainment to enjoy
With 23 different zones, visitors had plenty of activities to engage with through the two sessions per day. The stunning Animal Paradise Tour exhibiting nearly 30 LEGO life sized models formed the centerpiece of the show. In addition to the familiar build zones (Star Wars, Minecraft, Friends, City builder and more), Dallas unveiled new features including a Master Builder workshop, a ninja tournament temple, a challenge zone and a larger than life ‘live" stage experience.
Professional builders Duncan Titmarsh and Ed Diment held workshops and hosted time-trial challenges. Our popular mosaic zone also made an appearance and proved to be very popular, with visitors commenting that it was the first time they'd experienced a community Lego build on that scale. The brick pits over-spilled with creativity and the dioramas were filled with fan creations. The Company is in early discussions regarding further BRICKLIVE shows in the United States.
